This is a story, unlike most.
\nThis is a story of love found, lost, and found again in one of the most unlikely ways imagined.<\/p>\n
I met William back in 1983, between my JR. and SR. years of high school. I truly thought he was the most arrogant, egotistical, self-centered person I had ever met.
\nI was engaged at the time, so I really didn’t care if I saw William again or not.
\nWell I did marry David, had a son, and well, David became quite abusive.
\nIt was William that stood by me during those times, always there when I just needed a friend. Over the years, William and I became best of friends. We were always together, talking, laughing, leaning on each other for strength and support during the hard times, during the easy times, we just were friends.<\/p>\n
Well as the years went by, some how, (and to this day, I still can’t say how it happened) we fell in love, and built a relationship, and a family of our own.
\nSomewhere along the line, we lost sight of each other, and ended up separating.
\nWell that was fifteen years ago.
\nAnd three years ago, at our son’s wedding, we saw each other, (though we were each married to others) I knew I needed to get the closure that we never had, I asked our son to call his dad, and when I heard his voice, (through the tears that were falling) all I could say…….<\/p>\n
“I still love you, William” that was three years ago, and if all goes as planned, for my birthday next month…… he will be home. We will have our family back! \ud83d\ude00<\/p>\n
