“Life is what we make it and how we handle it”

Pratyusha was so excited about going to her new boarding school. It was the first time she is going to a boarding school which is a co-ed. She was surprised to see 30 boys and 6 girls in her class.

Pratyusha is a motherless child who had been brought up by her father and granny. Though they love her so much they couldn’t show their care and affection towards her due to their busy schedule.  She had always been lacking  contact with her family. She always wanted someone to express love and affection towards her. She is fair in complexion and innocent in character which attracts people towards her.

Initially she found it tedious to adapt to the new environment but later with the help of her friends her life went smooth in her new school .  She had a best friend shruti, she was not only a friend but also a well wisher in her life. She always takes decision based on her advice. A year passed and some more new students came to her class. she was made to sit between sonil and sukil during the class hours. As time passed by they became close to her and she became friends with all their friends. That was the first time she met sharik and became friends with him. Sharik later became very close to her and he gave all the love and affection she missed in her life. As days passed by sonil and sharik started to fall in love with pratyusha,  as they both were friends and they both were in the same gang their friends din know whom they should support.  But since everybody was close with sharik all of them indirectly supported him.

Since none of them knew what pratyusha had in her mind so they made sonil propose her but as she rejected him they all became confident that she would accept sharik. But sharik was not confident so he spoke with shruti so that pratyusha would accept his love.

Since shruti knew pratyusha also had feelings for sharik she supported their love and made her accept his proposal.  They both loved each other truly for 2 years.  Suddenly pratyusha’s father came to know that his daughter is loving a muslim guy so he made her change the school.  She was put in a new school without any prior notice  so she wasn’t able to tell sharik and her other friends about her whereabouts.

She missed her love her best buddies and she was left lonely.  She wasn’t able to communicate with her new class mates due to her lonely and depressed feeling. She started to cry every day which made her father worry and so he took her to many psychiatric treatment yet she wasn’t able to get out of her loneliness.  She started to hate her loneliness and started to hurt herself. Her life was same for 2 years and finally when she created an account in facebook she got sharik contact number through their common friends.

Immediately she called him up and he din pick up. After 3 hours she got a call from him though she was excited and dancing inside she was also scared whether he remembered her. So when she attended the call as soon as she said hello he found her and both of them where excited to speak to each other.

During this two years of separation a lot had changed about him. She couldn’t find the old sharik whom she loved. Yet she was happy to hear his voice and she loved to speak to him.  But he started to avoid her she din know why he avoided her. When she said that she still loved him he started to hurt her by using harsh statements like ” stop interfering in my life I have no interest towards to you ”  not nly him but he made his friends also say the same statement which made her heart break more and more, yet she believed he would come back to her.

Later one day shruti called pratyusha and said that she heard sharik is committed with some girl named aparna. Pratyusha was heartbroken when she heard this. Yet some where deep inside she thought maybe that was a rumour so she mustered some courage and texted him when she got a reply from him that yes he was in love with aparna. When she saw his msg she thought her life is over, now there is no one in her life, the person she loved the most was the person who hurt her the most. She became more dreadful and lonely. Her friends tried to convince her yet it was a failure. She started to miss her mom for the first time in her life.  She wished that her mother would have been next to her and she would lean on her and cry to her and tell how she felt. And finally one day for the first time she saw her mom in her dreams. Her mom said her “everything will be alright and soon u would meet and speak to him”.  She believed in her heavenly mother’s word and started to wait for him. After 9 months she got a call from sharik and he said he wanted to meet her.

Once they planned to meet she forgot all the harsh statements he used and was very excited to meet him. They met in the evening where he said he loved aparna because he missed her presence and because of her only he fell in love with aparna and now they both had a fight and he was hurt by aparna so he came.  Pratyusha felt that she was the reason for him to be hurt so she used to call him and make him happy. She made his days normal. Everything went fine until sharik and aparna patched up again. When they both patched up sharik made conference call with aparna pratyusha and himself.  That was when aparna started to scold pratyusha and said her not to speak with her boyfriend anymore, which made pratyusha more hurt. She again received a text from sharik “I din know she was going to say such things so stop thinking about me and lets not speak “.  The msg was like breaking her already broken heart.  She started to cry like there is no tomorrow. Later she realized that she has been used by him. She was totally heartbroken and yet she couldn’t get angry with him.  She din know how to get angry with him, how to forget him,how to move on her life.

Many guys proposed her yet she couldn’t accept their love.  She couldn’t get over from her first love.  More than 5 years passed yet she couldn’t love anybody nor get angry towards him.  The only thing she did was to daily think about him.
